Hello! My name is Rob, and I run Fortica Mechanical Design
I started this business with a clear mission to bridge the gap between digital design and the realities of the shop floor. My goal is to provide design services that move the needle for your business by reducing costs, improving safety, and increasing production efficiency.
Too many designers lack hands-on fabrication experience, resulting in concepts that look good on a screen but are difficult or impossible to build. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering and extensive experience in CNC programming, manual machining, welding, and PLC programming, I approach every project with a manufacturability-first mindset. This ensures your designs aren’t just theoretical, but they are functional, dependable, and ready to go.
Throughout my career, I’ve served as a Manufacturing Engineer in the aerospace sector and as a Principal Engineer for a custom machine manufacturer. My designs are currently in operation at facilities across the country, including several Fortune 100 and 500 companies.
